What was the highlight of Hotel dei Coloniali
Very good value for money, comfortable, and good location with everything within reach.
The hotel is small but comfortable. The location is not the nicest but it’s not too far from Ortigia or other places of interest in Siracusa such as the Neapolis park. Staff is friendly, breakfast is decent, and the room is tidied up every day.
The furniture needs some attention.

The ambiance of the room was antique and a good taste of the beautiful past.
The washroom needed some maintenance.

Very central location and walkable distance from Ortigia, the best breakfast we experienced in the Sicily trip.
Cleanliness (!) in the bathroom. The cleaning person does the duty in a very negligent manner.

Nice stay
The room was clean and the breakfast was nice. Cheap hotel compared to the others in the area. Finding free parking was easy (just in front of the hotel), and there’s also a paying parking next to the hotel if needed.
The location is a bit far from the city centre, but within walking distance. The room was a bit small but the bathroom was very big. Some hot water issues in the shower. Breakfast was nice, but the breakfast room is very small and the staff was not friendly. We got locked out in the evening as they did not communicate the code to open the entrance door during check-in.
